Residing in the beautiful residence of St Bartholomew’s Church, an aura of mystery and charm was added to the event creating a majestic charm and atmosphere.
We went along to see the Sustain Show on Friday, which was an entire show dedicated to sustainable fashion in Brighton, showcasing a whole range of designs from contemporary sports-wear to elegant evening gowns and an assortment of ready-to-wear clothing. The show highlighted the talent of eco-fashion.
One of the designers we were most looking forward to seeing was Anja Crabb whom our beautiful Alyse Kimsey did a shoot with recently and her collection certainly did not fail to disappoint.
Anja is an incredibly successful designer and since having moved from Germany to the UK in 2004, has designed for PUMA, interned for Christopher Raeburn. Her recurring theme within design is ‘memory’ which she feels allow for meaning and personal expression, both of which were evident in her BFW collection.
BFW had several show day’s taking place at various venues over Brighton, with the finale at Churchill Square from brands such as Accessorize, Bershka, Blue Inc, Debenhams, Dorothy Perkins,River Island andWarehouse.
The week was absolutely beautiful and a real chance to showcase the City’s fabulous talent in a great venue.
